We will be continuing to request that you wear face masks in the farm shop. Cases in the UK are on the rise so we feel it’s the right way forward.

For the safety of our staff and customers we would like to confirm that physical distancing of 2 metres and a maximum of 10 people in the farm shop at any given time is our aim for your safety. Please also help us by wearing a face mask in the farm shop at all times which should cover your nose and mouth. We have a sanitising station for customers to clean their basket/trolly handles and hands before entering the shop and antibacterial gel for your use is located at other stations within the farm shop.

Online Shopping and Home Deliveries with Click it Local

We do not currently operate a delivery service but we have recently been listed with an online shopping platform ‘Click it Local’ and have over 500 products listed with them which we are working hard to increase. This service operates in the Borough of Waverley so please enter your postcode to check they deliver to your address before shopping. Here is a link to our page.

Extended Opening Hours for Elderly, Vulnerable and Disabled Shoppers

Social Distancing and Face Masks

We would like to remind our customers for your safety and for our staff that we still have strict guidelines in place. Today the farm shop was busy and whilst the majority of our customers wear face masks and adhere to social distancing there are a few people who think that this no longer applies. We would like to stress therefore that we will only allow 10 customers in the farm shop at any one time and this should be only one person per family group whenever practical. Once inside the shop please be respectful of other shoppers and stay 2 metres away whenever possible. Only handle products that you intend to purchase. Use the hand sanitisers around the shop to cleanse whilst you are shopping. We are placing staff on the doors again to help monitor this situation and please be aware that this may create short lines at times. We would also like to remind you that you enter the shop from the left into the cheese section and exit from the tills. Nipping in the shop from the right past the tills is not acceptable currently.
We look forward to working with you to keep Secretts a safe place to shop for everyone. In view of the nationwide rise in cases of Covid-19 we want to act responsibly in the interest of our customers and staff and hope you will support us in this endeavour.

Whilst it’s preferable for people to shop on their own we do recognise that some of you may not be able to leave young children at home or in your car and for this of course we make an exception. In these circumstances you must supervise your child at all times making sure our social distancing policy is respected.

Discount for NHS workers

If work for the NHS we are offering you 20% discount in the farm shop when you show your ID card. This is our way of saying thank you to you for the amazing work you do.

Secretts and Corona Virus

Like all food retailers we know we have a responsibility to our customers to remain open and serving our local community with top quality food and produce. We have put some new procedures in place on top of what we already do as a five star rated business. Our cleaning rota and attention to procedure means we have always gained a five star rating for food hygiene for the business. We have followed the advice of Public Health England and have a more stringent hand washing policy in action and sanitisers at the tills for our team to use. Our farm shop team have been fully briefed and this drive is being management led. If you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact us by email at info@secretts.co.uk. We will give regular updates as the crisis continues regarding stock levels in the farm shop and opening hours. Currently the shop is open as normal from 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 4pm on Sundays.
