fresh vegetables

Growing your own fruit and vegetables can be
a rewarding and satisfying experience for the whole family.

You don’t need to have a large garden or an allotment
– you can grow vegetables in window boxes,
old buckets or even empty sacks!

Secretts aim to show you how simple it can be to
grow your own produce.
Our Garden Centre will show examples of what to plant
and when to plant, together with ideas of what containers
you could use if you have limited space.

Seeds, vegetable plants and fruit bushes will be on
sale throughout the seasons, together with composts, tools and everything you need to get started.

During the next few months there will be various
planting demonstrations at the Garden Centre so keep
checking this page for further details.

Our fully trained staff are always happy to give you
help or advice
– call in to the Garden Centre or
telephone us on 01483 520500.

What Vegetables Can You
Grow in Containers?

You can actually grow whatever you
like as long as the pot is big enough!

The easiest things to start with are
herbs and salad crops.
