Announcement for PYO for 2024 coming soon!

Events planned for 2024

We would like to reassure that this is not a permanent closure. It is unclear when we will reopen but this information will always be updated here on our website (you can see that we make regular dated changes to the website which allows you to know that this is current information)

Event diary to be posted soon!

This event will run for 9 days this year from Saturday 21st – Sunday 29th October. As always we will have a decorated walkway to the pumpkin patch, a daily fancy dress competition, pumpkin themed menu and a whole lot more. Updates will be posted here and on our social media feeds.

Pumpkin Week is always held the week before Halloween and following Surrey Schools half term.

A good way to keep up with us it to follow our social media platforms which we post on most days and google business. Need to ask a question? the fastest way to get a response is via facebook or instagram or by emailing our team on info@secretts.co.uk. We strongly urge you not to ring in as there are often long waits to be connected.

For news updates on our events please sign up to our Newsletter published on the first day of each month with additional emails sent for events such as these. The sign up form can be accessed here.

You may also like to follow our social media channels where we also regularly post news and event information.

On Site Etiquette

We have a few guidelines we would really appreciate if you would follow whilst on site in addition to our picking guidelines (listed below).

Only food purchased on site should be eaten in the PYO enclosure. The seating provided is for paying customers only.

We do not allow dogs into the areas where crops are grown for the public to pick or in the PYO enclosure.

Parking at Secretts

We have plenty of free on-site parking at Secretts. When you enter the site from the Chapel Lane end you will drive past the farm shop car park and carry on past the greenhouses and lakes until you reach the PYO which is signposted. If you arrive from the Squires Garden Centre site you will reach the PYO after the plum trees

Pick Your Own Guidelines

To ensure that everyone can enjoy the PYO at Secretts may we respectfully ask that you follow these guidelines;

Collect your punnet and talk to us in the greenhouse before you start picking. We will tell you where to find the best fruit and let you know what is available and the prices.

  • Children should be supervised at all times; Secretts is a commercial farm so tractors and other vehicles are moving around the farm all the time.
  • Please do not eat our crops before you have paid for them. We know it is tempting to have a little taste while you picking but please just taste one and then pay for the rest!

Seasonality

The availability of crops will depend on the season’s weather conditions. If you are looking to pick a specific crop, please call 01483 520555 ahead of your visit to avoid disappointment. We will update crop availability on social media and on our website.
