What does my ticket price cover?
As a small family farm, we work hard to keep our events accessible while delivering a memorable experience. Like many small businesses, our operational costs have increased significantly this year, but we remain committed to putting on a fantastic day for everyone!
Your £8.50 ticket price includes 20% VAT and all booking fees, and directly supports:
Can I turn up and pay at the gate?Because we are a ticketed event, most days sell out well in advance. We strongly recommend booking online beforehand to secure your entry and avoid disappointment! Many of our events have reached maximum capacity this year, forcing us to turn visitors away at the gate—and our Pumpkin Picking event is expected to be just as popular.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable. However, you can change the date and/or time of your booking, subject to availability. To do so, simply click the “manage booking” link in your confirmation email. From there, you’ll be able to see the events calendar and choose an available slot to move your booking to.

What time do you close?
This years opening/closing times vary – see below.
October 2026:
The final ticket slot of the day is set 3 hours prior to closing. As long as you arrive during your booked 15-minute window, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the trail, pumpkin patch, and all event activities before we close!
What if it’s raining?
We wish we could control the British weather, and as much as autumn can bring some truly horrendous days, we stay open come rain or shine, wind or snow! As a small family farm, we put our absolute heart and soul into preparing this event for our community, and we love nothing more than seeing the farm bustling regardless of the forecast. Because much of the event is set outdoors on our grassy fields, we always recommend wearing your trusty wellies and wrapping up warm.
If the skies do open up, don’t worry—we have spacious marquees with plenty of undercover seating so you can dry off, grab a hot drink, and still have a wonderful day out with the family!
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at the event to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees.
Can I bring my own picnic?
We politely request that no outside food or picnics are brought into the event area. As a small business, preparing catering fresh on-site requires careful planning—limiting external food helps us accurately predict catering numbers, keep waste to a minimum, and manage seating and litter comfortably for everyone. Restricting outside food also helps us maintain a safer environment for visitors with severe allergies. We offer a wonderful selection of hot food, drinks, snacks, and sweet treats on-site to keep the whole family refuelled! Exceptions: Baby food, formula, and items for specific medical or dietary requirements are, of course, always welcome.
What food and drink options do you offer?
Fresh from the Secretts Kitchen, enjoy a delicious selection of hot food—including pumpkin curry, pumpkin soup, and BBQ sausages—served daily from 11am. We’ll also have a great lineup of snacks, hot and cold drinks, and fresh cakes, including our famous pumpkin cake! For the little ones, we offer fun pick-and-mix lunchboxes.
Plus, we’re joined by some brilliant guest vendors this year! Enjoy mouthwatering bites from Crumpy’s Smoke Shack, treat yourself to Waffle on a Stick, toast marshmallows with the Marshmallow Toasting Company, or grab a cosy hot drink from The Coffee Can.
I have an allergy or food intolerance, can you help?
We understand the importance of accommodating all food allergies and intolerances. Your safety and enjoyment is our priority. While we strive to provide diverse food and drink options on the day please email us at info@secretts.co.uk ahead of your booking, and we’ll be able to provide detailed information on what is available and discuss how we can best cater to your individual needs.
Is there parking?
We offer plenty of free parking on-site. Follow the signs for the event parking for spaces closest to the entrance. Please note that entry and exit will be through the Chapel Lane Entrance only. The Squires Garden Centre entrance will be closed during the event.
What about accessibility?
Secretts Farm is a working farm with uneven terrain, and wet weather can make accessibility even more challenging. Unfortunately, the pumpkin field itself is not suitable for wheelchairs or mobility scooters. However, we’re happy to help in any way we can. Please reach out to us at info@secretts.co.uk to discuss your specific needs beforehand.
Do you offer carer tickets?
At this time, we are not offering carer tickets. If you have any questions regarding accessibility, please let us know.
My family member has additional needs / is disabled can you offer any help?
Please email info@secretts.co.uk ahead of your visit and we will help where possible. We are a working farm which has uneven terrain. And if we have wet weather this does make it even more inaccessible.
I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION, HOW DO I CONTACT YOU?
