WHAT’S ON at Secretts Milford Pumpkin Week – Surrey’s Favourite Pumpkin Picking Event
Embark on a spooky adventure with our Halloween scavenger hunt trail before reaching our pumpkin patch! Kids will love the fun scenery along the way, plus there are plenty of Instagram-worthy pumpkin photo spots to capture the magic.
Once you arrive at our Surrey pumpkin field, you’ll be amazed by the variety of homegrown pumpkins in all shapes and sizes. From the classic Harvest Moon to ghost, goosebump and Big Moose pumpkins – you can pick your own pumpkin from our vibrant selection (prices vary based on size and are payable in the field).
Refuel after your pumpkin picking with our delicious BBQ and pumpkin-themed food menu. Enjoy juicy sausages, hearty pumpkin soup, flavourful pumpkin curry, our famous pumpkin cake and a selection of homemade treats. We also offer a range of hot and cold drinks and kids lunchboxes – perfect for a family day out in Surrey.
The fun continues with a range of exciting children’s activities at our Surrey farm. Let your little ones enjoy biscuit decorating, a craft stall and glitter face painting. Let them jump on mini pedal tractors and a ride on the vintage carousel. There’s also a make-your-own waffle station for a delicious treat. (Please note that a fee applies to these activities).
Our Halloween fancy-dress competition is a wonderful way to make the day even more special for children, offering a great opportunity to snap some unforgettable family photos in the pumpkin fields. There are countless photo opportunities throughout our working farm – from the colourful pumpkin backdrop to the spooky walkway and paddock activity area.
REMEMBER:
Footwear: The walk to the pumpkin field is approximately 15-20 minutes there and 15-20 minutes back. The majority of the path is paved, so buggies and trailers can be used on most of the path there and back. However, there are muddy sections, so sturdy footwear is essential, especially after rain.
Dress for the weather! Our Surrey pumpkin event is rain or shine, so be prepared. If it has been raining, the fields can get muddy, so we recommend wearing sturdy footwear like wellies and waterproof clothing. Think “Glastonbury-ready” to stay comfortable and dry. We will have undercover areas available for food and drink situated in the main event area.
Pumpkin Carriers: While we provide wheelbarrows to help carry your pumpkins, they may not always be available. Please bring a strong, durable bag, your own wheelbarrow, or buggy as a backup.
Facilities: Toilets are located in the PYO enclosure, not on the pumpkin field.
Payment: You can pay for your pumpkins, food/drink and activities with cash or card.
Dogs: Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at the event to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees.
Parking: Is free, simply follow the event parking signs once you arrive at the Farm.
Tickets: Tickets are non-refundable. However, you can now change the date and/or time of your booking, subject to availability.
