Here at Secretts, we’ve been growing pumpkins for years, and every season we’re amazed by the variety, colour, character and sheer size of what emerges from our fields. This year, thanks to some fantastic growing conditions and a lot of care from our small team of farmers, the crop has gone absolutely wild.

The result? Thousands upon thousands of pumpkins and squash spread across 16 acres, making this our biggest harvest yet and helping to cement Secretts as home to Surrey’s biggest pumpkin patch.

Why This Year’s Pumpkin Crop Is So Special

Every pumpkin at Secretts is grown right here on the farm. Our team spends months preparing the fields, sowing seeds, nurturing young plants, managing weeds, monitoring pests and watching the weather with crossed fingers. Some years nature throws us a few challenges. This year, however, the pumpkins seem to have loved every minute of it.

The combination of sunshine, rain and warm temperatures has resulted in an exceptional crop, with healthy plants, huge yields and some absolutely enormous pumpkins.

Let’s just say there are a few pumpkins this year that require serious wheelbarrow commitment.

Harvest Moon

The Classic Carving Pumpkin: Bright orange, beautifully shaped and instantly recognisable, Harvest Moon pumpkins are what many people picture when they imagine a traditional pumpkin patch.
