Pumpkin season has arrived early at Secretts Milford, and the farm is buzzing with that early‑autumn excitement already. At the entrance to the farm shop, Kelsey and Mimi have been busy creating a gorgeous pumpkin installation full of a huge variety of pumpkins – from ghosts, to harvest moons, mini squashes, and everything in between.
The hot weather has pushed the pumpkins along quickly this year, they’re coming through thick and fast and some of them are absolute whoppers! One was so huge that Kelly from the deli ended up rocking it like a baby, which tells you everything you need to know about the mood on the farm right now. When the pumpkins start landing, everyone gets a bit giddy. It really is a magical time.
The installation is there for everyone to enjoy: a little pocket of autumn fun right outside the farm shop. Whether you’re stopping by for eggs, milk, a great slab of cheese or your weekly shop, pull up a hay bale, strike your finest pose and snap a photo while you’re shopping with us. It’s already become a favourite spot for families, locals and staff who can’t resist trying it out.
