We’re a thriving farm shop located in Milford Surrey and are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Deli Counter Supervisor to join our friendly team on a full time basis.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and success of our deli counter. You’ll ensure our customers have a delightful shopping experience while overseeing a team passionate about showcasing the freshest local produce.


  • Order and help to prepare and present a beautiful and enticing selection of deli products, including cheeses, cured meats, olives, and antipasti.
  • Work with our own Secretts Kitchen chefs to produce the finest products for the deli counter.
  • Responsible for ordering stock for the deli counter, ensuring optimal product availability and minimising waste.
  • Lead and motivate a team of deli staff, providing training and ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Liaise with local suppliers to source high-quality deli products as the best prices.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and safety within the deli counter.
  • Manage the deli counter budget and track sales performance.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a minimum of 2 year’s experience working in a deli or similar food service environment.
  • Possesses a good knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations (training will be provided)
  • Has excellent customer service skills and a passion for food or local produce
  • Is a strong team leader with the ability to motivate and train others.
  • Is reliable, organised, and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Has a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Is happy to work on a Saturday (or at least 2-3 a month)

Pay Rate:

Dependant on experience.
